Lazy morning & off for an adventure without the caravans today. First stop was coffee at a nice retro Cafe, Mt Ossa. The coffees were good & think we may have worked out what Tony wants in a coffee - it has not been easy ordering his coffee ☕️
Continued on to Cape Hillsborough diversity Mangrove walk. It was a beautiful boardwalk through the Mangroves - temperature great for walking - 28 deg & not much humidity. Met a young lad who thought he could make the sound of a kookaburra but I surprised him with my interpretation 🤣🤣.
Continued on to Cape Hillsborough beach which looked spectacular.
These little balls & patterns on the sand are from tiny crabs making holes & throwing the sand out which creates some beautiful patterns in the sand.
One more stop before home, the Kuttabul Hotel. We were nearly going to stay at the back of this pub for one night but decided on St Helen’s Caravan Park so we could do some washing.

Next beach was Seaforth - beautiful beach with a swimming enclosure to protect you mainly from stingers 😜
.
We bought lunch from the Pit Stop Cafe today, some had sandwiches & some hot chips - was all good & a nice spot to have lunch!
The caravan park looked great as well, maybe a good place to stay if we were up this way
Was very interesting pub.
Home after a long day to sit out in the balmy night, have a few wines & home made Chicken Curry for dinner.
Tony collecting coconuts before they fall on us 😜🤪
Our camp at St Helen’s - tomorrow we move to Airlie Beach 🏖
