No hurry this morning but we were on the road by 10am. Beautiful scenery today of the sugar cane fields & mountains.
Jude’s van in the middle 🤣 more slow drivers today & one incident at the dump emptying our toilets. It was quite a tight squeeze to get in & a line of vans waiting their turn when this woman came over with her toilet cassette & looked like she was pushing in - she wasn’t very pleasant!

Drove to a town called Calen to do a quick food shop - very interesting, everything from milk, bread, eggs to nic nacs, clothes (think second hand), toys. Forgot to get a photo but will probably go back tomorrow.
We arrived at St Helen’s Caravan Park & set up camp, lunch in 27 deg & then washing . We are still getting used to the heat 🤪 had a lovely afternoon planning, reading & blogging.
We headed for the Calen (Cailin) Hotel for dinner tonight & were lucky to get a table. It was trivia night & lots of the locals were there. We found a great table outside as it is a barmy night.
The beer garden was very colourful & known for their big thongs & we couldn’t resist having our photos taken.… they looked great in the beer garden.
Ventured home for a coffee outside the van as the temp was beautiful (not what we are use to), blog, read & bed.
