St Helen’s Caravan Park to Airlie Beach

Easy pack up today as no rush - only an hours drive to Airlie Beach!    Drove through beautiful cane fields & mountains which was quite picturesque.   Quick check in & set up camp ready to stay for 7 nights.

Lunch, coffee & a quick look at our surroundings. We are right opposite the Adventure Park & can hear everyone having fun playing mini golf & enjoying the pool.

Dean volunteered to drive & show us the sites around Airlie to get our bearings.   Beautiful Marinas, restaurants, bars, shops & scenery.   Ended up at Shute Harbour for a quick look.

Back to the main drag for a coffee & then a quick food shop on the way home.

Beautiful set up around here with lawns & pool for everyone to enjoy which overlooks the harbour!

Quick look down the Main Street but not enough time to shop so Jude & I will be back.

Happy hour at our van tonight, steaks & shaslicks on the BBQ, salads & potatoes!   Was very nice washed down with a few wines.  Jude & I had a quick walk around the Adventure Park where they had an out door movie for the kids & the pool looked spectacular with the lights on.  Home to clean up, blog, read & bed.
