Airlie Beach, Markets & The Pub

All off to the markets this morning on the foreshore.   Jude & I managed to buy a few things after browsing the stores while Tony & Dean listened to a didgeridoo player & had a quick beer at the pub.   Jude & I finished with a mango sorbet.  Yummy.

Back to van for a quick lunch & get ready for our big afternoon at The Pub.   The Courtesy Bus picked us up from the park & drove us to the pub.  We listened to a group singing Fleetwood Mac songs all afternoon while we shared a few bottles of wine.   There was standing room only when we arrived but a couple kindly said we could sit at their table (her name was Jude!)

As the music went on the dancing began & Jude & I were soon up joining in.   There is normally an elderly man & his wife at this pub & he started dancing with me, he had a few good moves but then thought it was time to move on 💃😜 Jude & I had our photos taken with him & he produced these glasses out of his pocket 😆

The music finished at 5.30 so we ordered dinner & had a great meal, even dessert was included which was a treat for us 😃 Had an interesting wait for our Courtesy bus (took an hour) but was entertained by one of the “ “local ladies” - think she was attracted to Dean.   The bus driver knew her quite well.    She  entertained us on the trip home 😆
