Catchup Day at Airlie Beach

Morning was spent catching up on washing & a few chores around the van.   Finally fresh sheets & towels 🤩 always good to have the washing out of the way!

Tony decided to dry his standup board & the cover.   Water managed to get in from all the rain we had at Brandy Bottle, also trying to fix something on the tow ball - went to buy a part (they were out of stock) & came back with a new shirt 😆

Sat in the beautiful sunshine & read & watched all the kids going by having fun on the carts, bikes, scooters & lots with golf sticks to play the mini golf ⛳️

Tony & Dean were watching the Crows this afternoon so Jude & I had a stroll around the caravan park to have a look at the other areas & the Adventure Park for the kids.   Beautiful grounds, cabins looked large & new for families & the Adventure  park looked great, pools, mini golf, swimming pool, water slides, playground etc.

They even had a tent where the girls could go & have their hair braided & have coloured extensions put in their hair.   So many young girls here & their hair looks amazing.    I’m sure Cailin & Evelyn would have loved to have had their hair braided.

When we returned to our camp realised all our sun had gone so wandered over & sat around the pool & had our coffee in the sun.    Back to the van to prepare our meal for dinner.   Jude had marinated our beef spare ribs in marinade, I made baked potatoes in the air fryer & we mixed up a packet of coleslaw.   Easy dinner tonight.

Dean’s turn for the hot coals tonight to finish of our beef ribs over the grill on the fire.   Dinner was great & as the night was a little cool the heat beads kept us warm while we ate & had a few wines 🥂

And of course we had a visitor for dinner which came right up to us & played in the trees 🥴
