1770 Campground - Day 5

Kaye & I headed to our usual spot on the beach to read & chat & watch the activities on the beach & water!    Amazing sitting there watching everyone on the beach, caravans coming & going, boats going in & out of the estuary, tour boats, people fishing & people just enjoying the beach! 😊

The tide was very low today which made the bay quite interesting!

A couple we met here last year, Annette & Rob, are both paddle board riders but haven’t hit the surf yet, lovely couple with lots of information about the area & the surf, but Tony has met some other people here in the camp who go out surfing on their paddle boards so he has some company paddling out along the estuary to the surf πŸ„‍♀️

Tony had a great day on the surf again but thought the waves were bigger yesterday!  He’s hoping to get out again tomorrow πŸ„‍♀️

After another successful day sitting on the beach & Tony surfing we all headed back to camp to get the fire going for happy hour πŸ”₯

The sunset was looking amazing again so walked over to the beach for a few photos 😊

Kaye & Tony cooked our camp oven meal tonight, Chow Mein!
Was very yummy!

We sat around the fire πŸ”₯ having a few more drinks as the night was very serene with everyone sitting outside their vans 🍾πŸ₯‚
