Sun still shining but have had weather reports saying there was going to be up to 40 ml of rain on its way on Monday. We all tried to get in a day early to our next camp so we didn’t have to drive in the rain ☔️ Tony & I managed 1 night in a different park in Hervey Bay so decided to leave the Spencer’s a day early! Of course this morning they downgraded the rain to 15 ml 🤦♀️🥴
It was strange saying goodbye to them after spending 4 weeks travelling, eating, happy hours, camp meals, fires & of course our meetings 😆but will have lots to talk about when we meet up again!
We only had an 1 1/2 hour drive today & was uneventful except for a truck going in the opposite direction must have been close to us as the board on the car lifted. Think we lost one of our straps as it started making noises on top of the car. Had to pull over & check! The forests made it a nice drive.
Arrived at our park at 12 noon & quickly set up camp. Still plenty of sun to sit in & have lunch ☀️
As our tv hasn’t been working that well (not picking up Kao for the football & other channels) we went to Harvey Norman in Hervey Bay & bought a new tv. Took awhile to set up but Tony is happy he can see the footy!
Chinese takeaway tonight as we couldn’t be bothered cooking. Very nice!
