Fairly quiet night in camp & not too many vans leaving early. We were ready to leave around 8.30am this morning. It wasn’t long & we were passing through Rockhampton.
Fuel stop, coffee & Dean surprised us with a melting moment. Yummo! On our way again until we stopped for lunch in Rosedale in what we thought was a nice quiet spot of the Highway. We enjoyed our lunch on a nice grassed area with a dog barking at us behind a fence. Then a car stopped with 2 more dogs 😬 it wasn’t s quiet, so quick bite to eat & we were on our way again.
The offending dog is in the bottom left hand corner of the fence 🥴
We had all sorts of traffic today, horse floats going slow, slow caravans, bikes & fast cars overtaking! One bad accident just before Bundaberg - we hope everyone was ok!
Finally arrived at Bargara Caravan Park, set up camp & a well earned coffee ☕️
A quick walk to the beach to get our bearings & check the surf 🏄♀️ We walked past a tournament in the park where they were playing wheelchair basketball. Incredible players!
Back to the van & a quick drive around Bargara too check out bike paths & cafes 😊
Happy hour, entertainment from the didgeridoo & guitar, spaghetti Bolognaise & back to van to watch the Crows 😊
