Isla Gorge to Mount Morgan

Good night sleep again & up ready to try & book into another park.

The photo below is of our neighbour.   No-one saw him the whole time we were there!  We were all very intrigued as to why he spent the whole time in his van 🤪

Our drive was uneventful apart from some roads were bumpy & rough!    Drove through Theodore & Banana, Fuel & coffee stop & soon arrived at Mount Morgan.   We were greeted by the owners (Dave & Deb) & were given a small piece of pumpkin.   We have lawn, water, power & quirky things scattered around the park.   Arrived in time to have lunch in the sun & the boys watched the Crows. 

Had a chat to Mum & Dad & good to hear all is well there 😀 After blogging & a coffee Jude & I had a walk around the park to look at all the quirky things scattered around the park.

Tonight we were fortunate enough to be here when the owner’s wife (who we think is Thai) was cooking authentic Chicken Pad Thai so we all headed over to the camp fire in the camp kitchen with other travellers for our meal.   It was a great night.   They held a raffle for the Royal Flying Doctors & I won 2 green capsicums 😆 then I won again so I gave my prize to a family from overseas & the young girl was so excited to receive a block of chocolate.   The raffle prizes were a lot of fun but always happy to donate to the Royal Flying Doctors 🛬

After some persuasion the boys entertained the crowd with the didgeridoo & guitar playing.    People were keen to try the didgeridoo & the guitar as well.   It was a lot of fun & I think everyone enjoyed it.

Yes, would you believe, Tony & I, Dean & Jude, had to turn out the lights, we were last to leave 🤣
