Scott’s Head - Surf, Trip to Macksville

 After breakfast Jude & I wandered over to watch the boys surf - although a small swirl they had quite a few good rides.   Lovely sitting in the sun watching all the surfers.

Back to the van for a read before lunch!    I didn’t get much of a chance to relax before tony wandered back with his board.   He had come off the board in shallow water & hit the sand pretty hard.   Thought he had either bruised or cracked a rib 😩😱

After a few nurofen the pain wasn’t much better & the Doctor here was closing in 5 mins so they suggested the Macksville Hospital to see a Dr & maybe get an X-ray 😵‍💫   Had a quick bite to eat & then headed to Macksville Hospital.

They were great there, straight in, X-ray & saw the Dr for results.   He has a broken rib & it is also fractured further along! No surfing for 6 weeks 😵‍💫

Jude & Dean met us at the Hospital & we went into Macksville to try & find a Cafe for a coffee.  We ended up in the beer garden of the hotel sitting in the sun having our coffees ☕️

Home to relax before happy hour - think we needed a drink tonight 🥂🍷

Will be interesting tomorrow trying to pack all our gear up to move camp on Sunday!  Jude & Dean have offered to help but will see how he is in the morning 😩 he can drive but bending & lifting causes his pain to spasm so will see how it goes!  hoping he has a good night 😴
