Off to the Cottontree Markets early today as we were meeting Trish & Bill from the Dunes for a coffee. They were passing Maroochydore on their way to Hervey Bay. Had to wait for a break in traffic - thousands of people running in a huge marathon today at Maroochydore & most of the roads were closed for the event. We couldn’t get in or out of the park with our cars until 1pm today!
Jude & I strolled through the market & I purchased another pair of earings but the stall we were hoping to see wasn’t there today. Tony headed to his favourite stall - vegetables & fruit 😆 & yes he came home with lots of fruit 🥴😆
We had a lovely catch up with Trish & Bill at a Cafe in the Main Street ☕️ We all had a lot to say about our travels 🤣
Back to the van for lunch & our friends Pattie & Kel rode passed on their bikes & stopped for a chat. They were visiting their son & daughter-in-law who are living at the park while their house is being built. We walked through the park after lunch & caught up with Pattie & Kel’s family.
Back for a sit in the sun until it was time to get ready to go to the Surf Club for the Members Draw & meat raffles! We actually won the meat raffle so we will all enjoy a barbecue soon!
Stayed for a meal & a few wines & then back to the van for an early night!
