Left at 8am this morning & heading to Maroochydore! We had a few incidents today - a car cut us off deliberately & then braked right in front of us (We did wander what we had done wrong to deserve this) but eventually he took off & we relaxed again! Flashing lights at us to warn us of a radar up ahead but with my Waze Ap I knew there were police ahead 😊
Came across a very narrow bridge (one way only) - enough room for 1 car to cross 🤦♀️ Lucky no-one was coming the other way 🥴
Found a beautiful park for our lunch south of Gympie! Ducks & swans everywhere & a beautiful outlook!
On ward bound to Maroochydore - we did have a little trouble with noise on top of the car from the board, so a few stops to see what was happening 😳
Arrived at Maroochydore about 3pm to find out the site we booked had been changed 🤨🥴 This site was a fair way from Jude & Dean & very tight to get in 😳 Tony had to come the opposite way he is use to reversing, banged into a pole which they removed so he could get around the corner, missed a car on the corner by about 1 inch 🤦♀️ & eventually the Manager & a few campers ended up coaxing him in the spot 😳 he is good at getting into spots but this was ridiculous 😱. We were ready to get a refund & move on 🙁🤦♀️
No photos as I was too busy watching behind the van, in front of the van & watching the young lad trying to advise which way to go 🥴😳 was not a good experience 🤨
Eventually in our site, new mat down, chairs out & a coffee in the sun - Tony watched the last quarter of the Crows & then shower & out to the Surf Club for dinner 🥂🍾
