Easy morning packing & ready to leave by 9.15am. Seemed a long day today driving, some narrow roads, road works, rolling hills & a fair bit of traffic.
The drive over the bridge in Maryborough was quite spectacular!
One coffee stop & on our way again to Rainbow Beach 🏖 Arrived around 12.45pm in time to set up camp & sit in the sun for lunch. Jude & I did a few loads of washing when we arrived (didn’t quite dry so have a Chinese laundry happening in the van till we hang it up again tomorrow 🥴)
We all had a nice stroll around the camp to get our bearings. The tide was out so will be interesting seeing what it is like when the tide comes in!
Quite a large caravan park with lots of areas for bush camping, powered sites & cabins.

Our camp oven meal just visible in the background. 3 course meal tonight, arancini balls for entree, Beef Red Curry for mains & Joe’s plum pudding we purchased when we were back in Lake Cargelligo for dessert 😂 finished off with a Baileys 🍹 great night sitting around the fire 🔥
